The idea of change can be very scary, but one thing I’ve learned is that change is inevitable, and life sometimes forces you into it. Such is the case with me now being an empty nester. Coupled with unhappiness in my job, and the arrival of a new year—which naturally prompts self-reflection and a fresh start—I am starting to take an inventory of my life.
